Ewaybill Information latest news in India

From 1st April 2018

No eway bill required for Intra State Transactions.
Ewaybill is must for Inter State Transactions.

For State to State Goods movement more than Rs.50000/- value  e waybill is must from 1st April 2018.  For any transportation mode i.e., Road, Railway & Air carrying ewaybill is compulsory along with consignments more than Rs.50000/- value.

As per the decision of Government regarding ewaybills the implementation date is February 1st 2018 but due to technical problems in GST Portal, it was postponed.

Now National Informatics Centre has developed the GST Portal capacity to generate ewaybills 75 lakhs per day. In future there should be no technical problems will be arised in generating ewaybills.

No ewaybill needed in Andhra Pradesh

From 1st April 2018 there is no need of E-Waybill Generation for Intra State Movement of Goods for any valued goods in Andhra Pradesh only.  This was announced today by The Chief Commissioner of State Tax vide Letter No.CCW/GST/74/2015 dt 29.03.2018.

Battery Buses in APSRTC

Started in Vijayawada as Trial.

Due to the diesel price is going higher, APSRTC is searching for substitutes.  By implementing Battery Buses, RTC is taking steps to reduce the cost of diesel as well as to protect environment.  In this context Vijayawada Depot is conducting a trial run with a Battery Bus released from Gold Stone Company.

This bus runs 250 kms from 5 hours charging.  The cost of this Bus will be approximately Rs.1.6 crore.  Since this is a very expensive, first they are conducting a trial run and if this is successfully completed with positive results there is a chance to purchase another 100 Buses.  These busses will run in between Gannavaram and Amaravathi.

Academic Year Starts from June 1st

Education department has released an Academic Calendar for the year 2017 – 18, contains List of Examination Dates, Holidays list and timings of the Schools to be run.  As per this calendar the last working day for the Academic year for 2017-18 is April 12^th 2018.  The new year 2018-19 will be sarts from June 1^st 2018.  Summer Holidays will be from 13.04.2018 to 31.05.2018.  Formative and summative examinations should be completed by April 9^th 2018.  The Schools timings are remain the same as previous.

Important Days for the year:  The last working day for the year 2017-18 is 12.04.2018; Summer Holidays from 13.04.2018 to 31.05.2018; Reopening date for the year 2018-19 is 01.06.2018; Dasara Holidays  from 20.09.2017 to 04.10.2017.  Christmas Holidays for Missionary schools from 24.12.2017 to 28.12.2017.  Pongal Holidays from 12.01.2018 to 16.01.2018.
